Flying Horse – painting on canvas.
Over the last 600 years The Flying Horse and the adjacent buildings have been actively developed and adapted.
In the nineteen seventies when I used to frequent Nottingham more it was a really good pub with numerous bars.
It called time on pulling pints and after extensive refurbishment sometime in the 1980’s it changed its name to the Flying horse walk.
It is now a shopping arcade, whose entrance sits within the 18th century four storey brick Georgian elevation.
Situated on The Poultry, it is a really picturesque building.
On a signboard on the building the date 1483 appears, this is the same year in which the Princes were murdered in the Tower.
